In 2023, Becca was working at Poole Hospital when she started noticing symptoms. In February 2024, she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer.

In January 2025, 15-year-old Callum was a sporty teenager who was doing well at school, when his life suddenly changed.

Chloe had an endoscopy and, in March 2024, was diagnosed with stage 2 signet ring cell adenocarcinoma, a fast-growing and rare form of stomach cancer.
