Stand Up To Cancer brought together a young woman going through cancer treatment and photographer, Alex Cameron, for a body confidence shoot.
Cancer treatment often alters the way someone looks, and while this can be temporary, it can be very difficult to deal with. Ever since Georgie was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2018, she has struggled with the impact treatment has had on her body and feels she has lost part of her identity.
"Accepting the skin you're in is really hard when you're going through cancer because you don't feel like it's you."
Georgie saw the photoshoot as an opportunity to get the love for her body back and regain some of her confidence.
"I want to be able to look at my body and accept it for what it is... My body is really fighting for me right now and I should love it. I should accept it."
