Steph's Story - Ovarian Cancer
Touching Tribute To Mother
With Ovarian Cancer
Steph was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer in 2014, when her son was just two years old. In 2016 she learned the devastating news that her cancer was incurable.
To help take her mind off her illness, Steph took up kick-boxing, which allowed her to relax. She trained twice a week and reached a yellow belt in the sport. Steph passed away unexpectedly at the end of October. She recorded this video earlier this year to share her story and support our campaign.
With her family’s blessing, we’re sharing the video to pay tribute to Steph and her incredible courage.
